چکیده
Background This study is to evaluate the early results treatment of patients with total occlusion of the left main coronary artery. Total occlusion of the left main coronary artery is a very rare finding in patients with acute coronary syndrome. In these cases, patients present various clinical symptoms, however the symptoms and the survival of these patients depend on the development of collaterals and adequate medical intervention.

Rapid Spontaneous Coronary Artery Reperfusion Following Severe Bradycardia During Exercise Tolerance Test: A Rare Case Report
The acute occlusion of a coronary artery without the evidence of myocardial infarction might immediately affect both the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease. We present the case with a sudden occlusion of the left main coronary artery without typical chest pain following an exercise tolerance test and rapid spontaneous reperfusion of the left main coronary artery.

Ischemic heart disease presents with various symptoms, and chest pain is a chief complaint. Occlusion of the left main trunk often results in serious symptoms such as cardiogenic shock. However, while extremely rare, left main trunk occlusion can present with only slight chronic symptoms. In the present case, a 62-year-old woman with few risk factors for ischemic heart disease visited our hospi...

The treatment of an acute left main coronary artery occlusion still poses a challenge. In this case report we present a 50-year-old patient with an acute occlusion of the left main artery. After a successful angioplasty without "stenting" due to the complexity of the stenosis the patient underwent a successful bypass surgery. We discuss the therapeutic options of acute left main occlusion regar...

Although acute left main coronary artery occlusion is rare, it carries a very high mortality rate. Following the encouraging results of trials testing the effect of primary percutaneous coronary intervention, more cases of left main stenosis are treated as culprit lesion in acute myocardial infarction. Few cases of primary percutaneous intervention on left main occlusion have been published. We...

Our experience with a patient who had an angioma of the anterior wall of the left ventricle that produced complete occlusion of the left main coronary artery is presented. Diagnosis was made before surgery from findings on cineangiographic studies. Successful surgical treatment consisted of a double aortocoronary bypass to the left anterior descending and obtuse marginal coronary arteries. The ...
